  • Before Camp
Our Early Bird program is available for our Gymnastics Camp and Sports Camp campers.

Grades K-8

The Early Bird program is designed for early risers who need care before the camp day begins. Participating campers may arrive as early as 7:30am. Just enroll for the weeks that match your schedule and we’ll handle the rest! No camp July 3-4. 3 days or 5 days

  • After Camp
Our After Camp Recreation program is available for our Gymnastics Camp* and Sports Camp campers.

Grades K-8

Need care after the camp day? After Camp Rec offers an opportunity for campers to extend their fun by enjoying unstructured play time, along with indoor/outdoor activities, games, arts and crafts.

*Participants registered for Gymnastics Half-Day T/Th + Gymnastics Camp Dance Extension may register for 5-Day After Camp Rec (3-day discount will be automatically applied).

Our Camp Swim Add-on extends the fun a little longer for the our Pirate Tennis, Basketball Camp, Skating Camp and Volleyball Camp morning campers!

Grades K-9

Pack a lunch and cool off at Centennial Family Aquatic Center! Campers in AM sessions of the participating camps can register to join the dedicated camp swim time each afternoon. Transportation will be provided, when applicable.

Looking to learn to skate or accelerate through the beginning skate classes of Basic Skills 1-6? This is the camp for you! A great way to cool down and learn to skate or accelerate your learn to skate experience. The day will be split into on-ice class time, off-ice conditioning, and supervised practice ice. Snacks and crafts will be provided during any rest periods we can grab! Location: Centennial Ice Rinks, Studio Ice Rink

GOLF

FAMILY GOLF CAMP
Age 5 and up as of the 2023-24 school year & up
Come out to learn the fundamentals of golf and play a few holes as a family. Our instructors spend the first 30 minutes of class helping with swing fundamentals, and then the course is yours for a stress-free golf experience. Fees are per person.

SUMMER GOLF CAMP
Grades 2-8 as of the 2023-24 school year
Players: be ready to have fun! Golfers will have plenty of time to learn all aspects of the game, including swing fundamentals, etiquette, responsibilities of the player, and rules. We’ll have quizzes, skills challenges, course time and much more. This camp is great for junior golfers of ALL skill levels! Campers will be grouped by age and ability. PLAYERS ACADEMY
Grade 6-9 as of the 2023-24 school year
Welcome to the club! Class includes a junior membership for the ENTIRE 2023 season, allowing for unlimited rounds of golf Monday thru Friday. This 8-week course will get kids ready to play at the next level of competitive golf. They will learn how to practice to lower scores, have daily team and individual competitions, and keep track of their scoring average. Players will have an hour of instruction from 11 am-Noon, and then play 18 holes Tuesday and Thursday. Players have the option to play 9 holes as well. Golf experience is required.

TENNIS

Enjoy all the fun of Pirate Camp with activities scaled to levels that younger children can successfully achieve. Scallywags learn footwork, hand-eye coordination and tennis fundamentals daily. Group activities feature cooperation and emphasize sportsmanship with creative use of footballs, relay races, footwork ladders and targets. Location: Wilmette Tennis Club

PIRATE TENNIS CAMP
Grade 2-6 by first day of camp
Join us for a summer of pirate-themed tennis challenges! This camp teaches kids tennis fundamentals inside a board game format. Using volleys, groundstrokes, overheads and serves, kids attempt to beat the game. Athletic skills such as footwork, balance, and hand-eye are the keys to opening the treasure chest at the end of the game. Patrick “Sully” Sullivan, other senior tennis staff and elementary school teachers with a love of sports and kids are the instructors of this camp! Extend the day with Pirate Tennis + Camp Swim Add-On! The perfect way to end the summer! Beginner through Intermediate levels welcome! After a morning of tennis on the lakeside Gillson courts, we head for the beach. Beach activities are supervised by Wilmette Tennis adult staff and include beach races, beach volleyball, sand castle building competitions, Frisbee on the beach and swimming under Lifeguard supervision. In the event of rain, we’ll play tennis indoors at Wilmette Tennis Club.

Hit the beach this summer to develop volleyball skills, strategy, and technique! We’ll use a combination of fun and active drills, along with daily scrimmages to build a solid volleyball foundation. To cool off, participants can take a dip in the lake during our daily swim time! Location: Gillson Beach
