  • Dancing Queen: An ABBA Salute is the ultimate tribute to the music of ABBA – sure to capture the hearts of fans and audiences of all ages! This live show is full of musical precision, fabulous flair and fashion, and promises a mesmerizing ABBA experience for every Chiquitita, Super Trouper, Fernando, and Dancing Queen around!

    Fronted by a dynamic Agnetha and Frida duo, the music of the greatest pop band in history comes to life in a joyful celebration of these timeless tunes. Dancing Queen: An ABBA Salute is the Midwest’s long-standing resident ABBA tribute, with a repertoire of over 40 all-time favorite hits. From Waterloo to Mamma Mia, S.O.S. to Knowing Me, Knowing You, Honey, Honey to Voulez-Vous, audiences won’t be able to help singing and dancing along with their high-energy homage to everything ABBA!

  • Illinois Brass Band: Dedicated to bringing British – style brass band music to audiences in Chicago and across the Midwest, George Foster and William Holmer founded The Illinois Brass Band in February of 1991 with assistance from Boosey and Hawkes. The band is composed of thirty volunteer musicians and is the most senior of Illinois’ brass bands.

    As a member of the North American Brass Band Association (NABBA), IBB attended its first competition in 1993. IBB won first place in NABBA’s Honors Division in 1994 and followed with an unprecedented string of six championships in seven years (1996- 2002) in the Championship Division. IBB also represented NABBA at the Great American Brass Band Festival in 1999 and was honored to attend the 2003 British Open Brass Band Championships – the first brass band outside the British Commonwealth to compete in this prestigious event.
    The band has released several recordings: A Christmas Fantasy; Championship Brass; Shaken’ … not Stirred; Live and Kickin; Hark!; and most recently Cookin’ With Brass. IBB has also showcased exceptional guest soloists, including internationally renowned euphonium virtuosi Robert and David Childs, cornet soloist Roger Webster, trombone soloist Brett Baker, euphonium soloist David Thornton, and tenor horn soloist Paul Bennett. IBB has astonished audiences with the power, virtuosity, and beauty of the British – style brass band and breadth of its repertoire. Through performances, recordings, and participation in competitions and festivals, IBB continues to bring the excitement of brass band music to general audiences and brass aficionados alike.
    The Illinois Brass Band is an IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt and Illinois non-profit corporation and is supported in part by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency. 
  • Rosie & The Rivets perform the best danceable music of the 1950’s and early 1960’s along with some current hits with a retro twist. Not your typical ‘oldies playing oldies’ band, they perform a high energy show that’s fun for all ages. You’ll hear early rock, rockabilly, girl group, surf and soul authentically and expertly performed by professional entertainers. Sticklers for detail, much research went into their stage production; period correct clothes along with vintage guitars, drums, and even microphones assure you’ll be in for a truly Retro-Cool experience both visually and musically. While shows are pure Rock & Roll, they pride themselves on keeping them family and client friendly.

  • Shout Out is comprised of some of Chicago’s finest professional musicians. Shout Out performs a wide variety of music from the 60s through today’s top hits. You will hear all of your favorite Top 40 radio hits from artists like Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Usher and Maroon 5. They are also well versed in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. Created by the national award-winning band Maggie Speaks, Shout Out will keep you dancing all night long.

  • The Yacht Rock-ettes are Chicago’s very own female-fronted yacht rock band. This 7 member band features all the smooth rock hits from the 70’s & 80’s, including songs from Michael McDonald, Hall & Oates, Toto, Christopher Cross, Player, Ambrosia, Captain and Tenille, and more. And while the music may be soft, these girls still rock hard! Their energetic take on these classic tunes will have you up and dancing and singing along. The Yacht Rock-ettes are available for all your nautical or soft rock event needs. Yacht parties, weddings, festivals, and corporate events. Let the Yacht Rock-ettes play all you lovers into the night. 

KID’S SHOWS Performer Bios:

 
  • Jeanie B! has been called “Velcro for kids.” Jeanie’s style is upbeat but laid back and authentic. Her interactive shows are jammed-packed with dancing, sing-a-longs, and plenty of silliness; everyone goes home happy!

    Jeanie B! has been writing, singing, teaching, and performing music for children since 2003! Her passion for engaging young ones and their families is contagious. With a vast catalogue of original music, she is certainly one of the most prolific children’s music artists. She and her band “The Jelly Beans” all hail from Chicago.

  • Nanny Nikki is a Grammy® Nominated Artist who loves to bring life to classic children’s songs as well as her original music.  Join her for a high energy, interactive, musical show including sing-along songs, dancing, puppets and more!  Either performing alone or with her band, The Dapper Dudes, Nanny Nikki’s Show is sure to have your audience shouting for joy! Sing & Soar!

  • Wendy & DB, an award-winning kindie duo from Chicago, with two guitars, a ukulele, and their voices, write and perform songs about science, nature, diversity, animals, safety, and the arts. Their unique style is reflected in the music and catchy lyrics along with their vocal harmonies. They examine the world with curiosity and what you experience is just plain fun!  Wendy and DB’s live shows for pre-school age children and families explore a variety of instruments and joyful props that get everyone moving, singing, and dancing.
