WOMEN’S PADDLE
Beginner Paddle is for those with little or no knowledge of Platform Tennis. Students learn the mechanics of basic strokes, scoring and Platform Tennis etiquette in a fun environment Assorted days/times
This class is designed for students who know Platform Tennis basics and/or have successfully completed our Beginner and Advanced Beginner classes, or have other match play experience. We review and continue to develop basic strokes, positioning and screen play, and add more shots to your repertoire. Class time focuses on consistency of strokes and doubles strategy. Assorted days/times
Players of all levels will be mixed up to make six NEW, somewhat equal, teams with 10-12 players (max 72) to make a round robin. We will play matches on Mondays from 7-10 pm
Players of all levels will be mixed up to make six NEW, somewhat equal, teams with 10-12 players (max 72) to make a round robin. We will play matches on Thursdays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
We’ve created a new in-house league to accommodate our growing number of competitive players. This League is a pro-run, up/down format, and we will play matches on Fridays from Noon-1:30 pm
To participate in team drills, a player must be a member of the Wilmette Platform Tennis Club, as well as a member of a team.
Drills are held Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays; assorted times of day
MEN’S PADDLE
This class is designed for students who know Platform Tennis basics. We review and continue to develop basic strokes, positioning and screen play, and add more shots to your repertoire. Class time focuses on consistency of strokes and doubles strategy. Tuesday early evenings

Players of all levels will be mixed up to make six NEW, somewhat equal, teams with 10-12 players (max 288) to play a double round robin. We will play matches on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays from 6:30-10 pm
Club members from all levels sign up with a partner to compete in one of four divisions for the chance to be the club champions!
Division A (series 2-9, Friday, 3/17);
Division B (series 10-19, Tuesday, 3/14);
Division C (series 20-26, Wednesday, 3/15);
Division D (series 27-99, Thursday, 3/16).
Maximum 16-team draw for each division. Finals for all divisions will be Sunday, 3/19.
CO-ED PADDLE
This is a fun and dynamic format for learning all the basics of Platform Tennis, including court positioning, stroke technique, screen play, communication, scoring and rules of the game. This program is designed for beginners, advanced beginners and intermediates. We know you will love it! Thursday early evenings or Saturday afternoons
YOUTH PADDLE
Children have so much fun learning the basics of the game, they might not even realize they are in an instructional class designed to develop their racquet skills, help them gain confidence in their hand-eye coordination and learn the nuances of the sport! Tuesday afternoons
Children in this class enjoy fast-paced drills emphasizing match strategy, shot control, positioning and teamwork. We emphasize camaraderie, cooperation, sportsmanship and proper paddle etiquette. We use a game-based approach. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday afternoons
